No experience necessary, all training will be provided, This seasonal opportunity is typically available between January and April , Daytime and evening hours are available, and Site locations in Chicopee and Holyoke.
High need for daytime volunteers, Available between September and June, and it’s Located in Chicopee.
Volunteer facilitators lead discussions, play games, read stories and create arts and crafts with all the grieving young people in our program. With the help of our caring adult facilitators, participants make new friends and share about their experience of loss.
Help set up for parties, and attend to guests needs.
Guide visitors in interacting with exhibits, highlight important educational topics.
Volunteers are always needed to help with a daily craft project. We provide all the supplies but welcome new ideas.
Teach visitors to make paper, share its significance in Holyoke’s history, and help run one of our most popular hands on exhibits.
The Child Activities Leader will craft age appropriate activities for children staying in the YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter.
