Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity relies on it’s volunteers to build homes, but also to build our organization. Volunteers can: Help in the office, Work on fundraisers, Help at events, Help with families, Recruit other volunteers, Work with faith communities, Help build homes, or help with Other off-site projects.

Volunteers help in a variety of ways: parking cars during Brimfield Flea Market weeks, assisting at events, helping with mailings, or contributing skills to assist with projects such as painting, gardening, photography, graphic design, etc. Some volunteers help with a specific event, some take on projects; some help for a day, others help for years.

Mentor adult volunteers as they work with Girl Scouts to create memories they will never forget.

Can you assist with typing, record keeping or putting a display in place? Perhaps you’d like to help lead tours of our collection? Short term and continuing helpers are needed.

Coordinate the annual cookie sale at the troop level. Set up cookie booths, manage inventory and money, and then watch the girls light up when they earn the rewards for being the best cookie sellers ever!

Help the girls explore nature and find the fun outdoors.

Work with a group of girls and mentor them as they make new friends and develop connections that will last a lifetime.

Assist with driving, activity planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to keep the troop running oh-so-smoothly from week to week.

Whether you can give a few hours, a few weeks, or a few months, volunteering at the Girl Scout office could include everything from envelop stuffing to social media analytics.
