Ways to help |
Volunteer Luncheon HelpersTo help out once a month for our center’s luncheons. Tasks would include, setting and clearing tables, serving already prepared meals and beverages. Free meal for volunteer.Senior Transportation/Companion Driver VolunteerVolunteer drivers are needed immediately to assist clients with transportation to/from medical appointments, hairdresser/barber, pharmacy, shopping and more. Volunteers can receive mileage reimbursement of $.54/mile to help offset the cost of using your own vehicle. A clean driving record and CORI background check required.Clerical Aides for CenterCollate papers, computer assistance, letter writing, mailings and the like.Volunteer Home VisitorsMany elders are unable to get out of the house but would really enjoy having a friendly visitor come in for a couple hours per week just to chat, play games, read, or take a walk when the weather is nice. No personal care involved. |

How you help | Volunteers are extremely important! They provide critical assistance for our transportation teams, public calls, interactions, and office paperwork. |

About us | The Easthampton Council on Aging changed it's title to include " Enrichment Center" to reflect our many functions as we serve our 55+ population. We strive to include, meet needs, provide diverse programming opportunities in education, exercise, quality entertainment and recreation on an individual level, and for our wider community. |
